The Menomonee Falls wrestling team won the Greater Metro Conference tournament at Brookfield Central High School Feb. 2 while Germantown finished second.
Menomonee Falls was led by first place finishes from Ethan Pogorzelski at 113 and Logan Fallon at 285. The Indians got second place finishes from Casey Reigstad at 106, Alec Lind at 120, Tyler Gill at 126, Noah Dakouras at 138, Jon Thomas at 160,and Henry Hansen at 170. Third place finishes came from Jordan Bonenberger at 132 and Ryan Spalding at 195. A fourth place finish came from Tyler Winn at 182.
First place finishes for Germantown came from Tyler Schiesl at 106, Isaac Riddle at 132 and Mason Wheeler at 152. Second place finishes came from Brent Miller at 113 and Andrew Seramur at 195. Third place finishes came from Chase Celichowski at 126, Eric Abel at 138, Zack Brooks at 170,Trey Wilson at 182 and Jack Pluta at 220.
Hamilton finished eighth at the meet. Hamilton’s best finishes came from Chad Holzem in the 132 weight class and Josh Reindl at 145. A fourth place finish came from Sam Beffa at 152.
